Lhasa is the second most populated city in Tibet at an altitude of 3490m above sea level. The city is religious and administrative capital of Tibet. The major attraction of Lhasa are culturally significant Tibetan Buddhist sites such as the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Norbulingka Palaces.
