Lumbini Tour

Lumbini is the holy land of the birth of Lord Buddha and is of extreme archeological importance and also a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site. Gautam Buddha was the prince of Kapilvastu who later became Buddha. He was born in the gardens of Nepal's Lumbini in 623 B.C. Mayadevi Temple, the Ashokan Pillar behind the temple and the Lake Shakya Puskarini are the major attractions of Lumbini.

Also, the Nepal Buddha Temple and the Dharmaswami Buddhist monastery are also the major attractions of Lumbini. Different Asian countries including Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, etc are contributing in Lumbini development. There is also a museum and a research center for Buddhism.

Major Attractions: Birth Place of Lord Buddha and his mothers temple Mayadevi. The temples built by many Buddhist countries are another attraction. It is more spiritual place to feel rather than to see.
